Lucy and Smokey, two silver-shaded British Shorthair cats with blue eyes, snuggled close together

Two cats.One mission.

Premium companions for cats — designed with Lucy and Smokey, developed for both of you.

01The story

In the beginning, there were two.

For twenty years, our home belonged to one cat. When she left us, we were certain: that was it. No new cats — the heart needs rest.

Then a friend told us about a litter. We only meant to have a quick look. There sat Lucy and Smokey — and ‘just looking’ turned into ‘forever’.

The first trips to the vet taught us something: many carriers feel hard, restless or awkward. So we started designing a softer companion — a sheltered place for the road that can open wide at home.

And the name? Lucy leads — the ‘us’ is Smokey, the two of us, and everyone still to come.

Behind the two of them: Hendrik and Sebastian — two people who like developing things properly.

For them, we develop things that make closeness easier on the road.

02The backpack

City Soft Carrier.

Our first product is the City Soft Carrier: a softly padded, shape-retaining cat backpack with a large mesh front. The images show the current design — not the finished product.

01

Large mesh front

The front stays closed while travelling. At home, it is intended to fold down wide so the carrier can become a familiar and quiet retreat.

02

Air from the side

Side mesh panels are intended to add airflow and visibility. We will test the material, mesh size and real airflow on the first prototype.

03

Stable base, soft mat

A removable base insert and a washable mat are planned. Both have to survive weight, cleaning and everyday use in prototype testing.

04

Designed for cat and human

A padded back and padded shoulder straps are part of the design. We will learn how the carrier truly feels to wear from the first prototype.

The images show where we want to go. This is not a finished product yet. We will test dimensions, carrying comfort and everyday use on the first prototype — and show openly what changes afterwards.

03The views in detail

Four perspectives on the same idea.

Above, you saw all four views at a glance. Here we show the same views larger and explain what matters in each one. They remain concept visualizations; the first real prototype may still differ.

04An option for later

A product pass — if it creates real value.

An NFC product pass is an open idea, not a promised feature. We first need to learn whether it truly makes care instructions, repair information and an optional found-contact simpler.

05What happens next

From design to a real carrier.

We show what happens next — and which questions only a real prototype can answer.

  1. Close-up of the side mesh panel on the City Soft Carrier

    Step 01

    Clarify the details

We review materials, openings, the base and carrying system. Anything that is not clear remains visible instead of becoming an early promise.

  2. Open concept view of the City Soft Carrier with its mesh door folded fully down

    Step 02

    First prototype

The design becomes a first physical carrier. It will show whether size, openings and materials work together in real life.

  3. Concept view of a person carrying the City Soft Carrier on their back

    Step 03

    Test it in everyday life

We test space, carrying comfort, stability, cleaning and airflow — with the carrier in our hands, not only in pictures.

  4. Closed concept view of the City Soft Carrier with a cat behind its large mesh front

    Step 04

    Improve or rethink

We only continue if the tests convince us. Otherwise, we improve specific points or rethink the solution.

06Make it possible together

Decided after sample testing

Crowdfunding is an option — not a date.

If the prototype convinces and the numbers work, crowdfunding may be a transparent way to start. Until then, there is no campaign date and no purchase commitment.

Possible building block01

Hear early

Receive development progress, test results and decisions first.

Possible building block02

Honest planning

We share price and timing only when the prototype and costing are dependable.

Possible building block03

Help shape it

Share feedback without turning it into an automatic product promise.

We share a price only after the prototype, tests and complete costing are ready.

  1. 01

    Review the design

    Clarify materials and open questions.

  2. 02

    Prototype and tests

The carrier has to work in everyday life.

  3. 03

    Launch decision

Only then decide on funding and timing.

Before you sign up

Honest answers.

Is this already the finished product?

No. The images show our current design. A physical prototype still has to confirm the size, materials and functions.

Which cats is the carrier intended for?

The current design uses outer dimensions of 34 × 40 × 36 cm and a floor area of 31 × 33 cm. Testing the prototype will show which cats can comfortably sit, stand and turn inside.

How safe and comfortable is it?

Large mesh areas, a base insert, mat and padded carrying system are part of the design. Safety, airflow and comfort will only become product claims after testing.

What will it cost?

There is no dependable price yet. We will share it only after the prototype, tests and complete costing.

When can I buy it?

There is no sales date yet. The update list shares real progress, not an early purchase launch.
